Just lwet s store our files with - here is a novel idea - _the rest of our files_), and at the same time you are making it harder and more expensive for me to properly secure my information? You are simultaneously signalling that you want to limit and control the amount of documents I can edit, store those document for me at your place instead of at a place of my preference (really dudes, _nobody_ is waiting for another "share with" option. and you are calling it SSO, but it isnt.) Lol SSO tax? GTFO (yes I know you have a "log in with google" etc. If you start university get used to some software that you will be able to use in that form for a longer period of time instead of the clusterfuck that Drawboard is!Ī file only counts towards your subscription limit if you uploaded it.ĭrawboard Projects offers Single Sign-On (SSO) for customers on the Enterprise tier. If you get used to that software you will be a steady target for developers that are trying to maximize the money they are able to extract from you all the time. ![]() So what you get now is a software without pressure sensitivity pen detection and clustered with hints to pay for one of their Subscription tiers. Also they took away a lot of basic features once again a few days ago. Imagine Valve taking away games from your steam account again as they "need that money to develop DLCs" like it is on you, the customer to support the wages of their developers because they dont innovate or develop any new software anymore. In short: the company used to sell their software and than switched to a subscription model where also the buyers now have to pay north of 100 dollars for some semesters of using the software. If you read that comment now i urge you to NOT USE DRAWBOARD. Your idea of importing the PDF as a smaller page and annotating around it is exactly the behaviour I want. I cannot give an estimate on when I will finish this, but hopefully not too late. I could easily do this by allowing PDF import as images, but I want a better implementation where the text doesn't get grainy as you zoom in. Yes, it's my highest priority other than bug fixes atm. but for now using snipping tool and a pdf viewer worked great. like importing A4 pages to landscape A3 leaving 50% blank. maybe in a way that allows to write next to it. Could you tell me what Surface do you have and what's your Windows build? I might have an idea on why it might happens though. What i noticed was that my surface pen would often be recognized as regular use and wait for a long press and thus in some occasions messing up my writing. Ideally, I would like to have basic markdown support and basic color/font selection. I hope to implement text support at some point, but my current focus is solely on handwriting. Sometimes that is just easier than writing by hand. UltraViewer is the closest but has lots of missing features and, if it matters, is based in Vietnam. It could really use a text field though. When connecting over the Internet, TeamViewr is secure and VNC is not. It is based on Vietnam, so all initial traffic gets brokered through a Vietnam datacenter first, from what I've seen. Seems fine if you can get past the language translations issues. UltraViewer is a bare bones knockoff of TeamViewer with a lot of missing features. VNC requires firewall ports be opened and forwarded directly to the end computer, thus exposing your computer to the Internet. Zero-trust model using a cloud hosted "phone home" type system. TeamViewer doesn't require (usually) any firewall modifications that can expose your network to the Internet. ![]() TeamViewer acts as a proxy to connect to clients through a secured tunnel, where VNC of any flavor is a direct connect technology. It operates in different way and access systems completely differently. UltraVNC is not an alternative to TeamViewer.
